Elias Einiö is Senior Researcher at VATT and Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. His areas of research are economics of innovation and labour economics. His recent work has examined the impacts of government support and tax incentives on R&D, productivity, and innovation, and the effects of place-based policies. In other strands of research he has examined changes in the structure of labour demand and peer effects in the labour markets and schools.
