PhD Candidate in Urban Economics and Planning at London School Of Economics And Political Science

Elisabetta is a PhD Candidate in Urban Economics and Planning at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on evaluating the effects of urban policies including conservation planning, density and compact urban form, as well as the effects of urban change on quality of life. Her work adopts different analytic tools including comparative legal urbanism, meta-analytic research, and quantitative empirical models to test theoretical predictions. She was the recipient of one of the Royal Geographical Society (IBG) postgraduate research awards in 2018 and recently carried out a household survey in Beirut, Lebanon sampling over 2000 households. Elisabetta is also currently a Research Collaborator with the RELIEF Centre working towards the creation of a Prosperity Index for Lebanon.
