Emily Haisley

Emily Haisley joined the Behavioural Finance team at Barclays in September 2010. Her background is in academic research and teaching at the intersection of psychology, economics and organisational behaviour. Emily has conducted original research on various aspects of financial decision making, including risk perception, asset allocation and saving. Her research has been published in academic journals, presented at numerous conferences and has received citations in the popular press. Her research partners and consultancies have included McKinsey & Co, Google, PNC Bank and the US Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to joining Barclays Wealth she was a Post-Doctoral Associate at the School of Management of Yale University. She received a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brown University.
