Emmanuelle Maincent

Head of Unit in charge of Economic Analysis on Energy, Transport, Climate change and Cohesion policies at the DG Economic and Financial Affairs at European Commission

Emmanuelle Maincent joined the European Commission in 2003. She worked in DG Enterprise and Industry and DG Transport and Energy before joining DG Economic and Financial Affairs where she heads the Unit in charge of Economic Analysis on Energy, Transport, Climate change and Cohesion policies. Prior to the Commission, she worked in several think tanks, among which CREDOC, Research Centre for the Study and Monitoring of Living Standards. She holds a Ph.D. in applied economics (IEP Paris, 1994) and a DES in European Economics (ULB Brussels, 2002).
