Felipe Schwartzman is a senior economist in the Research Department at the Richmond Fed, where he has worked since 2010. His research focuses on business cycles and urban economics. His work has been published in a variety of journals, including the Journal of Monetary Economics, Quantitative Economics and Review of Economics and Statistics. Schwartzman holds a doctorate from Princeton University awarded in 2010 and a Masters in Science from the London School of Economics. He has taught as a visiting Professor at University if Texas - Austin. He currently serves in the editorial board of the Berkeley Electronic Journal of Macroeconomics and the Brazilian Economic Review, and chairs the economics section of the International Society for Inventory Research.
