Francois Gourio is a senior economist and research advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where he conducts research on macroeconomics and finance. Previously, he was a tenured associate professor of Economics at Boston University, a visiting professor at the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania, a faculty research fellow of the NBER, an associate editor for the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and a founding board member of the Macro-Finance society.
