Georg Kirchsteiger is Professor of Microeconomics at the European Center of Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES), SBS-EM, Université Libre de Bruxelles. He received his PhD from the University of Vienna. Before he moved to Brussels in 2004, he worked at the Universities of Vienna, Tilburg, and Maastricht. His research interests are in the fields of behavioral economics, experimental economics, game theory, and industrial economics. He published articles in leading journals in Economics like Econometrica, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Review of Economic Studies. In 2000 he received the Hicks-Tinbergen Medal of the European Economic Association (with Ernst Fehr and Arno Riedl).
