Giovanna Partipilo

Head, Statistical and IT Support Division at Bank Of Italy

Giovanna Partipilo works in the Financial Supervision and Regulation Department of the Banca d Italia, where she heads the Statistical and IT Support Division. She is currently working on fintech and operational risk in the banking system, with a focus on IT and cyber risk. In the past, she conducted on-site examinations of banks and other financial institutions. She earned her degree in computer science from the University of Bari (Italy) in 1987.
