Humberto Laudares holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, and an MPA degree from Columbia University. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he decided to undertake a Ph.D. in Global Health/Biomedical Science at the University of Geneva to complement his research agenda. He has 15 years of experience working with economic policy in international organizations, such as the World Bank and the Global Fund, and Brazil's public sector. His research interests are in Development Economics, impact evaluation, and global health.
