James Bullard

James Bullard is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He oversees the activities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District. He also participates on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee, or FOMC, which meets eight times each year to set the direction of U.S. monetary policy. He received his PhD in Economics from Indiana University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and in quantitative methods and information systems from St. Cloud State University.
