Y. Jane Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She was visiting Assistant Professor at U.C. Berkeley in the Fall of 2011. She received her PhD in Economics from U.C. Berkeley, and her BA in Economics from Stanford University. Her research focuses on preference formation. Research interests include culture and competitive inclination, curriculum and ideology, education and preferences, and validating lab experimental findings externally.
