Jessica Jeffers is an Associate Professor at HEC Paris, where she holds the R&Co research chair for Data and Impact Investment. She was previously on the faculty at Chicago Booth and earned her PhD in finance from Wharton. She studies empirical corporate finance, with a special interest in labor and finance, entrepreneurship, law, and sustainability. A common theme in her research is the relationship between finance and society, through the lens of works or other stakeholders. She is a founding member of the Impact Finance Research Consortium to advance work on impact investing in private markets.
