Johannes Kasinger is Head of Policy Center at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) of the Goethe University Frankfurt on the topic: “Information and Public Economics in a Digital World”. In 2019, he spent 7 months at the University of California, Berkeley, as a visiting PhD student. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), a M.Sc. in Quantitative Economics from the GSEFM and a Bachelor degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich. He also worked as a research assistant at the SAFE Policy Center and at the Chair of Public Finance at the Goethe University Frankfurt (2015-2020).
