John Morrow is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at King's Business School and is affiliated to the Centre for Economic Performance and Centre for Economic Policy Research. His main research studies firm responses to economic changes such as trade or industrial policies and the consequences for productivity and efficiency, especially in developing countries. John completed a PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a recipient of the FIW Young Economist Award and ETSG Chair Jacquemin Prize. John has taught at Kent State University, London School of Economics, University of Essex and Birkbeck College. At King's he teaches on Principles of Economics, mixing interaction and London's history to illustrate key concepts; Advanced Mathematics II, a challenging mathematics course that prepares students for postgraduate programmes; and International Economics, a graduate class on firm strategies and government policy in the global economy.
