Juan Carlos Suárez Serrato is an Associate Professor of Economics at Duke University, and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Prior to joining Duke, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He received a Ph.D. in economics from UC Berkeley, a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Trinity University, and he is a proud graduate of the AEA Summer Training Program in Economics.
