Juan D. Carrillo is a Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California, a Research Fellow in the Organizational Economics Programme of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the Co-Director of the Theoretical Research in Neuroeconomic Decision-making (TREND) Institute. His areas of specialisation are neuroeconomic theory, microeconomic theory and experimental economics. Pr. Carrillo has published peer-reviewed articles in those areas and has edited two books in psychology and economics. He is a graduate of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1992), has a Master in Statistics from Harvard University (1993) and a PhD in Economics from Toulouse University (1996).
