Katherine Ricke

Katherine Ricke is a Research Associate in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Cornell University and a Visiting Investigator at the Carnegie Institution for Science. She is a graduate of the PhD program in Engineering & Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and received her BS in Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science, with a minor in Public Policy, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Katherine is a climate change scientist who integrates tools from the physical and social sciences to analyse climate policy problems. Central to her work is accounting for uncertainty and heterogeneity—both in the effects of climate change and in preferences for how to address them.
