Kerstin Unfried is a postdoctoral researcher at the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM). She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Göttingen. Her research interests are in the field of the economics of conflict, health in developing countries, and political economy.
