Konstantin Pashev

Associate Professor of Finance at New Bulgarian University

Konstantin Pashev is Associate Professor of Finance in New Bulgarian University, Sofia, where he teaches doctoral, master and bachelor courses in public finance. He has managed a number of policy evaluation projects in transition countries and has worked as a Senior Economist for the World Bank and for the Center for the Study of Democracy (a think-tank) in Sofia. He received his PhD from Mejji University in Tokyo in 1996. His research is on fiscal governance, taxation and shadow economy. He has published in Post-Communist Economies and The Journal of Financial Crime.
