Kostas Mavromatis is a senior economist at the research department of De Nederlandsche Bank. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam where he still keeps a small affiliation. His research concentrates on the area of international economics and monetary policy. He has taught at the Finance Group of Warwick Business School and has also visited the research departments of the Bank of Greece and the Central Bank of Cyprus. He completed his PhD in 2012 at the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick.
