Kostas Mavromatis is a principal economist at the monetary policy department of De Nederlandsche Bank. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam where he still keeps a small affiliation. His research concentrates on the area of international economics and monetary policy. He completed his PhD in 2012 at the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick.
