​​I am an assistant professor (W1) at the Department of Economics, University of Mannheim. I am affiliated with CESifo, CRC TR 224, and IZA. ​ My research interests are Chinese Economy and International Trade. I mainly work on three topics. The first one is the US-China trade war. The second topic is on the impact of globalization on environment and political economy. The third ​topic is about studying the labor market consequences of globalization, where I pay a special focus on skill-biased technological change, industry cluster, wage inequality, human capital accumulation, and migration.
