Luca Bettarelli is Assistant Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Palermo, where he teaches Macroeconomics and Environmental Economic Policy. He has been a consultant to the World Bank, helping with the assessment of the impact of climate change on firms’ performance in developing countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Milan-Bicocca. His research interests include environmental economics, political economy, international economics, and regional studies.
