Lukas Mayr is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Economics Department of the University of Essex. He obtained his PhD at the European University Institute in Florence in 2018. His main research interests are Macroeconomics and Public Economics. His research focuses on aggregate and distributional consequences of fiscal policy and particularly on the optimal design of tax-transfer systems.
