Marc Goñi is an associate professor at the Department of Economics, University of Bergen (UiB). Before joining UiB, he worked at NHH and the University of Vienna and visited IRES at Université catholique de Louvain. He completed his PhD at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2015, under the supervision of Joachim Voth. Goñi’s research focuses on economic history, marital assortative matching, inter-generational inequality, inheritance, automation, and schooling provision.
