Maria Dolores Montoya Diaz is a Full Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of São Paulo, where she earned both her Ph.D. and B.S. Her expertise lies in applied econometrics, health economics, and gender economics, which are underpinned by contributions to teaching, research, and publications. She contributes to two research groups: the EconomistAs (Brazilian Women in Economics) and the Microdata Analysis Group for Evaluation, Monitoring, and Development of Public Policies (γ-metrics). Since 2022, she has been the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administration, Accounting and Actuarial Science, with her term ending in 2026.
