Markus Pannenberg is Professor of Economics at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld and Research Professor at DIW Berlin, having done his PhD and Habilitation at the Technical University of Berlin. He was previously a Senior Research Associate in the GSOEP department at DIW Berlin and the Department of Labour Market Policy at IWH Halle. His research centres on labour economics and applied econometrics. He is an IZA Research Fellow since 1999.
