Dr. Maros Ivanic is Consultant with the Trade Department of the Development Economics Research Group at the World Bank where he analyses issues related to international trade and poverty. Previously, he worked at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting in Qatar and the Center for Global Trade Analysis at Purdue University. Dr. Ivanic holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He is author of several journal articles and book chapters on the topics of international trade liberalisation and poverty assessment.
