Matthew Kotchen

Matthew J. Kotchen is an Associate Professor of Environmental Economics and Policy at Yale University and a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Kotchen’s interests lie at the intersection of environmental and public economics, and his research has been published in leading economics journals and covered widely in the popular press. Kotchen has held previous and visiting positions at the University of California (Santa Barbara and Berkeley), Resources for the Future, Stanford University, and Williams College.
