Mauro Boianovsky

Mauro Boianovsky is Full Professor of Economics at Universidade de Brasilia, Brazil. He has a PhD in economics from Cambridge University and has published articles in the field of the history of economic thought in a number of international journals. He will serve as president-elect of the History of Economics Society after June 2015. His book with Roger Backhouse, titled Transforming modern macroecomics: exploring disequilibrium microfoundations, 1956-2003 (Cambridge University Press, 2013), has received the Best Book Award given by the European Society for the History of Economic Thought.
