Michael Koch is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University and member of the FIND research center. He is doing theoretical and empirical research in international economics, with a particular focus on the labor market effects of globalization. He has worked on topics such as how globalization affects residual wage inequality through internal labor market reorganization and empirically investigates the effects of foreign ownership on worker skills. He has also an interest in the implications of offshoring, and recently, the impact of automation on labor market outcomes.
