Michèle Tertilt is a Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim. Prior to joining Mannheim, she was an Assistant Professor at Stanford University, a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania and a Hoover National Fellow. In 2019, she was awarded the Gottfried-Wilhelm Leibniz Award by the German Science Foundation and in 2017 she won the Yrjö Jahnsson Award for her research. Currently, she serves as a Director of the Review of Economic Studies.
