Michelle Acampora is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Zurich. She works at the intersection of development and behavioral economics. She is interested in how market frictions and social incentives affect belief formation and individual behavior, from market participation to demand for mental healthcare. Her current focus is on the role played by stereotypes, stigma, identity, and image concerns.
