Moonsung Kang

Associate Professor of International Economics, Division of International Studies at Korea University

Moonsung Kang has been Associate Professor of International Economics at the Division of International Studies (DIS), Korea University, since 2006. Before he joined the DIS in March 2006, Professor Kang had worked, for six years, at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). He has advised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade since 2000, and was awarded the Minister Commendation from the Ministry of Finance and Economy in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison with Robert W. Staiger. He wrote several books on issues of international trade and published academic papers in various journals.
