Moritz Meyer

Economist, Poverty and Equity Global Practice at The World Bank

Moritz Meyer is an economist in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank, working on the topics of poverty measurement, distributional analysis and labor markets with a particular focus on the South Caucasus, Central Asia and the European Union. He earned his Master degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Meyer worked in the research department at the Asian Development Bank and the International Labor Organization.
