Nicholas Sly

Nicholas Sly is an Assistant Vice President and Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. His research is focused on the relationship between international trade and labor markets, and the role of multinational enterprises in the global economy. Prior to joining the Economic Research Department at the Bank in 2015 Mr. Sly was Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oregon, and was previously a visiting scholar at the Paris School of Economics. He earned his PhD in Economics from Michigan State University.
