Nicole Hassoun

Professor of Philosophy at Binghamton University

Nicole Hassoun is a Professor of Philosophy at Binghamton University with a focus on global health justice and population health ethics. She is also the executive director and founder of the Global Health Impact Project (https://www.global-health-impact.org/), an initiative that evaluates access to essential medicines and aims to address international health problems. Her recent work revolves around the exploration of health inequalities between different countries, particularly accentuated by the Coronavirus pandemic. She is the author of Global Health Impact: Extending Access to Essential Medicines and her most recent book is A Minimally Good Life: What We Owe to Others and What We Can Justifiably Demand.
