Nuno Sousa

Nuno Sousa joined the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission in 2004 where he has been working on issues related to structural reforms in product markets and structural competitiveness of the EU economy. Before joining the European Commission he worked as a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Minho in Portugal. He completed a Ph.D. in Economics in 2002 at the University of Nottingham where he worked on the impact of inward foreign direct investment.
