PATRICK Imam

Representative of the IMF in Madagascar at International Monetary Fund

Patrick Amir Imam is currently the representative of the IMF in Madagascar. At the Fund, he worked in the Middle-East and African departments, as well as the Institute and in Monetary and Capital Markets. Prior to joining the Fund, he worked as an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse First Boston in London. His research is focused on issues related to financial stability, macro-prudential policies, and financial sector development. He has a PhD in Economics from Cambridge University
