Petr Janský

Associate Professor of Economics at Charles University

Petr Janský is Associate Professor of Economics at Charles University, Prague, Czechia, where he is also the Principal Investigator of CORPTAX and Head of the Department of European Economic Integration and Economic Policy. With academic degrees from Charles University and the University of Oxford, Petr specializes in public finance, corporate taxation, tax havens, and inequality. Petr's research focuses on how much multinational corporations pay in taxes, to what extent these taxes are paid in tax havens, and which factors drive these patterns. Petr has a book published by Oxford University Press and publishes in scholarly journals such as IMF Economic Review, or Economic Geography. Petr pursues his impact through collaboration with international organizations such as the European Commission, European Parliament and the United Nations.
