Resident Scholar at American Enterprise Institute

Philip Levy is a Resident Scholar at the think-tank American Enterprise Institute, having served as Senior Economist for Trade on the President’s Council of Economic Advisers (2003-05), and a member of the Policy Planning Staff at the State Department (2005-06). An economist by training (PhD, Stanford), Levy has experience in many international trade and development policy issues, including free trade agreements, trade with China, antidumping policy, welfare effects of globalisation, and US foreign assistance and economic development policy. He has published widely in both professional journals and policy outlets
