Pierre Dubois

Pierre Dubois is professor of Economics at TSE, fellow of the CEPR, IO programme director of the CEPR and of the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, the European Economic Association and the International Association of Applied Econometrics. His work includes research on industrial organization, demand models, household behavior, health and pharmaceuticals, food demand, development economics and applied econometrics. He has been published in economics journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economic Studies, the RAND Journal of Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Development Economics and the Journal of Labor Economics. Pr. Dubois received his PhD in economics from EHESS Paris, has been assistant professor at the University of Montréal, has held visiting positions at Berkeley and Northwestern University and has been Visiting Professor at Harvard University in 2015 and 2019-2020. He has also been Managing Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization from 2013 to 2018, Scientific Director of the Toulouse School of Economics during 2015-2019 and is currently associate editor of the European Economic Review, Co-Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association (2021-), and director of the TSE Health Center.
