Pierre-François Weber

Pierre-François Weber is currently Head of Macro-Finance Division, Financial Stability Directorate at Banque de France. Prior to this position, he was an Adviser to the Director for Financial Stability at Banque de France. He also served as a Senior Adviser to the French Executive Director in the International Monetary Fund and a Senior International Economist in the International and European Affairs Department at Banque de France. He joined Banque de France in 1998. Over the years, he has been engaged in several task forces and working groups on international financial crises. He is currently a member of the FSF vulnerability group. His main areas of interest are banking, financial stability, international finance and economics, international affairs, and financial regulation.
