Raunak Mittal

Raunak Mittal is an IT officer, Business Solutions, in the World Bank Group (WBG) Information and Technology Solutions, Technology & Innovation Lab. As part of the Lab, he works on exploration and operationalization of emerging technology applications in WBG projects, with a focus on fintech among other areas. His current work focuses on issues related to central bank digital currency, stablecoins, blockchain technology, and fintech application in capital markets. Prior to joining the World Bank, he was an International Innovation Corps Fellow with University of Chicago and has worked with private sector in financial markets intelligence and information technology. Raunak holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
