Richard Bluhm is a tenure-track professor of Macroeconomics and Digital Transformation at the University of Stuttgart. Before that, from 2019 to 2022, he was at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) as a Humboldt fellow/ visiting assistant professor. His research is broadly situated in development economics, urban/ regional economics, political economy, and applied econometrics. He received his PhD from Maastricht University in 2015.
