Roberto Tallarita

Associate Director and Research Fellow, Program on Corporate Governance, Harvard Law School at Harvard University

Roberto Tallarita is an Associate Director and a Research Fellow of the Program on Corporate Governance. He is also an S.J.D. candidate and a Terrence M. Considine Fellow in Law and Economics at Harvard Law School. His current research focuses on corporate political activity, shareholder voting structures, and corporate law adjudication. His papers are forthcoming in the Harvard Business Law Review and the Journal of Legal Analysis. Before joining Harvard Law School, Roberto was a partner at LMS in Milan, Italy, where he advised European and U.S. corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds, and corporate directors in connection with M&A transactions, debt workouts, corporate governance, securities regulation, activist interventions, and shareholder litigation. He has also been an associate of Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners in Rome, Italy, and a visiting attorney at Kirkland & Ellis, New York. Roberto earned his law degree summa cum laude from the Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School
