Ruo Shangguan

Adjunct Researcher, Institute for Empirical Research in Organizational Economics at Waseda University

Ruo Shangguan’s research examines questions in organizational economics and international trade. His papers study how long working hours and manager’s decisions affect team productivity and how the microstructure of trade costs influences the firm’s export decisions and welfare gains from trade. Ruo Shangguan received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Tokyo in 2020. He has a MA in economics from the University of Tokyo and BBA (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Hong Kong.
