Sean Klein

Mr. Klein is an executive vice president on the client solutions and analytics team in PIMCO’s Newport Beach office. Prior PIMCO, he was head of wholesale stress testing at MUFG Union Bank. Earlier in his career, he headed empirical model development and special consulting services at Kamakura Corporation. Mr. Klein also teaches financial econometrics at the University of California, Irvine’s Merage School of Business. He has 11 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
