Seán Lyons

Seán Lyons is an Associate Research Professor at the Economic and Social Research Institute (Dublin) and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin. He specialises in applied microeconomics, with a particular focus on regulation, competition and policy modelling. He has a PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History from TCD. Sean’s former posts include Partner at Indecon Economic Consultants, Senior Adviser at the Irish telecoms regulator (ComReg) and Managing Consultant at London Economics. He is Honorary Secretary of the Statistical and Social Inquiry Society of Ireland.
