Sebastian S. Schmidt

Sebastian S. Schmidt is a PhD candidate and research associate at the University of Goettingen, Germany. In his dissertation he investigates the long-run dynamics of an increasing global connectivity on economic development. His research focuses on development economics, but it also intersects with political economy, economic history and international economics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Lund University, Sweden, and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Münster, Germany.
