Stefan Bach is Deputy Head of the Public Economics Department at the German Institute of Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and Lecturer at University of Potsdam. His research work is focused on empirical public finance, especially taxation and public revenue, social security, and distribution of income and wealth. He managed numerous policy advice studies on taxation and public finance issues.
